It would be pointless nowadays for dear, dear Mabel to just bolt
out
the front door. A resident would have to be composed enough
to
remember to bring along the key to the gate (or, at the least,
a sturdy
pair of shoes). Just not the same!

I rarely spend much time digging thru the bins
anymore but a few minutes spent in Amoeba usually
turns up something. This time around I scored nice
3LP copy of Harry Partch's "Delusion of the Fury"
Bobb Bruno performing @ the Eagle Rock Center for the Performing Arts
Nels and Carla aka Scarnella @ the same temple-- providing the
soundtrack to a screening of the Lon Chaney silent film "Laugh,
Clown, Laugh".
